Taalintehdas is the main populated centre in municipality of Dragsfjärd with about 3500 inhabitants. Swedish name for the town is Dalsbruk, which is also used in brochures, maps, etc. Taalintehdas is situated right in the heart of the beautiful Finnish archipelago providing you with beautiful sailing areas with both peaceful natural harbours and well-equipped guest harbours.

Taalintehdas offers you a good variety of services, and since the marina is practically placed in the middle of the centre all services are reachable within a walking distance from the base.

The marina is also well equipped with toilets, shower, sauna, fresh water, washing machines and shore power. A service station with fuel tanks and suction disposal is located right beside the marina. Grocery shops, pharmacy, banks, ATM, restaurant, café, accommodation, etc. are found in the immediate vicinity of the marina.

Taalintehdas is located 85 km south of Turku, 170 km west of Helsinki and 215 km south of Tampere, which also are the nearest airport bases for Taalintehdas. There are many airlines operating between Finland and main cities of Europe: Finnair, SAS, Air Berlin, RyanAir, Lufthansa, Air France, British Airways, KLM, Blue One, etc.
